Coolest Thing About Living In "DC"

First, it's not "D.C." - it's "DC" - note the periods. I've been corrected. Numerous times. But, really the coolest part of living in this city, as opposed to where I'm from (Denver/Boulder) is you never know just who you're going to run into on any given day. For example, today I was going to lunch at my favorite restaurant in the city with my friend and his parents who are in town visiting, and we ran into Wolf Blitzer. He and his entire family ended up sitting next to us. Since I've moved here, I've gotten to meet Bob Dole, Tom Daschle, George Will, Wolf Blitzer, Gwen Ifill, and numerous congressman. Very cool.

Also, I encourage you all to check out, if you're not already an avid viewer, CNN's "Freshman Year" online reality show. Great episode this week....
