You know the drill. Here's my entry for day 2. You can see Lauren's entry for day 2 here.(ATE (C) Cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake - best cupcakes ever, and actually, an important part of DC) Thanks for voting! See my day 1 entry here. -ATE
"to sleep, perchance to dream, aye there's the rub" -billy shakespeare for the picture does "rub" the conscience indeed, why the virgin austere cakes condescend to become the debased background scenery is a mystery that will forever haunt any who view the image- and so do these cupcakes conjure visions of a disillusioned hamlet, forlorn on the chess-like tiles that are justins countertop. To sleep? To dream? it would appear the cakes are but a dream, not the result of sleep nor a childlike yearning but rather grafted into a studio apartment in washington d.c.
Vote! I love it! One suggestion; you could have taken this on the beautiful brick sidewalks Georgetown is loved for. It would have made it that much more special, and you could of had more natural light.
i like the contrast of the tiles and the cupcakes. artistic and delicious!
